One of the key benefits is its ability to provide superior protection for spectators by fully covering the bleachers and the area behind the field with netting. The canopy design ensures unobstructed sightlines for fans, enhancing their experience without poles blocking their view. This system is most commonly used in the renovation of ballparks and sports complexes where the existing backstop is not tall enough to provide effective protection.

Our flagship product, the suspension backstop system, features poles that are not aligned with the netting. Instead, the netting is supported by cables that extend beyond the edge of the net to poles positioned outside the sightline of spectators. This design ensures a clearer and more enjoyable viewing experience, as there are no poles obstructing the view. Our innovation in creating this system has established us as industry leaders in the baseball and softball backstop sector.

If you already have a chain-link backstop in good condition, one option we offer is our chain-link backstop netting extension system. An original innovation by Nets of Texas, this system is designed to enhance an existing chain-link backstop by adding poles and netting that attaches to the current structure. It’s a cost-effective solution for ballparks where the existing chain-link backstop is not providing adequate coverage.

The classic design, the inline backstop system, combines nets and poles arranged parallel to the baseline and behind home plate. The term “inline” refers to the positioning of the poles, which align with the netting, typically at the corners of the backstop and at the ends of the net. This type of system is used when the poles must be placed in line with the netting due to a lack of space to place them elsewhere. In past years, this was the go-to design for most sport complexes and ballparks, however recently has been surpassed by the groundbreaking innovation of the suspension backstop system.
